Band to headline emotional concert in memory of their much-loved bandmate next week

The Haze are set to headline Rock for Riley, a charity concert taking place at Weymouth Pavilion on Friday, October 10 at 6.30pm

The gig is in memory of Riley Ellis who tragically took his own life aged 17 in 2022.

Riley was a founding member of The Haze, along with his good friend Llewan Matthews, 22, who he met at Weymouth College.

There is a big set lined up and the band will even be bringing out some special guests – While the identities of the special guests remain under wraps, lead vocalist Llewan hinted that they are “well-known performers with touring experience.”

There will also be music from duo Alfie and Lucy as well as The Hooked.

The event is raising money for Two Little Birds – The Riley and Trey Foundation which has been set up to honour the lives of close friends Riley Ellis and Trey Rodd, with the aim of supporting local youth mental health services across Dorset.

All proceeds from Rock for Riley will go directly to Two Little Birds, in memory of Riley and his friend Trey.

Tickets are £15 and can be purchased from Weymouth Pavilion here: https://weymouthpavilion.com/shows/rock-for-riley/
