Family rave Rave Kidz to visit Hamworthy Club in Poole

A FAMILY rave event said to be taking the UK by storm is coming to the area.

Superstar DJs from yesteryear and the present day will entertain families at the Hamworthy Club in Wimborne on March 22.

Parents and their kids alike can dance to up-tempo, child-friendly happy hardcore, hard house and bounce as one big family.

Money will be raised for chosen charity Young Minds, which supports children and young people with mental health issues. The event came about in Cornwall back in 2018 when an award-winning children’s disco company decided to put on a family event with a difference and Rave Kidz was born.

Armed with an amazing light show, lasers, candy floss, bouncy castles, face painting and the bounciest, happiest dance music on the planet they have held events all across the UK including London, Birmingham, Blackpool, Plymouth, Newcastle, Weston Super Mare, and Manchester to name a few.

As well as events Rave Kidz also has a monthly podcast featuring all the biggest child-friendly rave remixes and mash-ups. Since its launch it’s had more than 100,000 plays

Ami, from Rave Kidz, said: “When we started Rave Kidz we knew we wanted it to be all about the experience. We bring in well-known guest DJs and install a wow factor light show to create a sensory environment for the children.

“We see the look on children’s faces when they arrive when they are glowing up under the UV lights and the laser show is spanning the entire room. It’s so much fun for parents and children and to see them all raving together and enjoying the games, the atmosphere is incredible.”

Headlining the event will be the man of the moment in the Rave and Bounce scene, Andy Whitby. The most in-demand DJ in the harder dance scene with DJ Sets across the UK at the likes of Creamfields, BTID, Bounce Heaven, Rock The Park Festival and more. With over 200,000 streams a week of his Bounce Heaven Podcast.

Joining him will be the almighty rave legend, DJ Hixxy. Quite simply the biggest name in UK Rave music. From the multi-selling Bonkers Album and Clubland Xtreme Hardcore series to Raver Baby, HTID, Westfest, Dreamscape and Hardcore Heaven.

Supporting them on the afternoon will be Multi-Award Winning MC Storm alongside our 11-year-old resident DJ and her Mum and Dad, Little Miss Bliss & Serious Soundz.

Also on the day there will be face painting, games and prizes, candy floss, popcorn, photos with the DJs, mascot appearances and much more.
