When is it?
The one-day beach fest will be held on Sunday July 10 this year.
Last year’s Sandfest was due to take place in July but had to be postponed due to coronavirus restrictions, taking place in September instead.
It is held from midday until 10pm.
What is Sandfest?
It’s a mega beach party at Sandbanks beach with music acts, bars and food.
How many people are going?
Around 5,000 festival goers are expected to attend this year.
Where is it?
At the stunning Sandbanks beach.
Is there a dress code?
Relaxed is the vibe, but probably worth remembering the arena is sand, so heels are not advised.
Is there food and drink?
Absolutely. But don’t bring your own – or you won’t be allowed in. Organisers insist all tastes will be catered for.
Festival organiser Ty Temel said: “This is real grassroots event where consistently use local traders, local suppliers and employ local staff.”
Who is playing?
Dance acts Karen Harding and Sweet Female Attitude are among the latest wave of acts to be announced for the event.
The two acts will join Wes Nelson, who is best known for originally appearing on Love Island in 2018.
Grammy-nominated artist and producer Jax Jones will also be wowing the crowds at Sandbanks with a high energy set.
And there are more acts still to be announced.
Who has played previously?
Previous acts who have played Sandfest include Faithless, Idris Elba, Tinie Tempah and Chase and Status.
